Visa Vakeel
Over 60 years ago, I landed in the US as a foreign student and experienced many of the problems a young person away from home faces – financial, health, traffic, accident, speeding, etc., and often not being able to pay my school fees and room rent on time, even though I worked part-time in the University library. I did not tell my parents about any of my problems; I figured they would lose sleep without being able to help. India in those days allowed no more than $8 in foreign remittances. There were no instant communication tools such as computers, emails, cell phones, or faxes. So, you kept all that stuff to yourself.
NOW THOSE WHO WISH TO TALK TO AN ELDERLY PERSON – A LAWYER BY PROFESSION – ARE WELCOME TO CALL ME; I WILL TRY TO HELP, BUT ONLY BETWEEN 8:00 PM AND 10:00 PM EAST COAST TIME. Simple advice matters will be free; in other matters there will be a minimal charge of $250.

Arun K. Chhabra, a senior Washington DC attorney is the founder and the head of our law firm. A graduate of the GW Law School (with a Master's in law), he possesses over 50 years of work experience in the practice of US Visa and Immigration laws. He has served the Indian-American community within the US and abroad with dedication and distinction. In recognition of that fact, India's largest newsweekly, India Today, wrote a rather lengthy 2-page story in the centerfold about him and his work, in July, 1979. A brief excerpt from the magazine's Index section is pasted below.
About 10 years ago, Mr. Chhabra's lovely wife, Neeta Chhabra passed away. Feeling lost and lonely in grief, Chhabra pivoted his law practice to handling Relative Petitions exclusively. By uniting his clients with their loved ones, he says, gives him a lot of joy and lessen his own pain.
P.S: In case lawyer fees present a problem, call me. I will find ways to work with you.
